The podcast has gone live on the 29th of September 2023.

I started calling myself a spiritual lawyer five or six years after leaving my very successful career as an international business lawyer. I had an amazing career that started in one of the magic circle law firms in Paris and ended in an initial public offering of a global operator that led me to move to London. Yet, it was success on someone else’s terms and lead me to fail to be the kind of mother that I wanted to be to my two autistic children.  I called myself a spiritual lawyer because the term spiritualist did not feel right to me, even though I had trained as a psychic medium and even attended a spiritualist church for a couple of months.

I often say that it’s a spiritual jungle out there and I mean it. Once you leave the cozy space of organised religions, it is easy to fall pray to cults and unscrupulous individuals. I witnessed one of my closest friends fall into that trap. It was really hard. What has saved me from the same fate is my intuition. If things did not feel right, even if they looked fabulous, I did not do them. And that has helped me in good stead.

In my previous podcast, the intuitive revolution in business, I talk about the advantages of using intuition in your business or career. I encourage you to go listen to it with this link https://podfollow.com/1572071820. I was really pleased to find out today that even though I have not released episodes since December 2022, it is still ranking in the top 5% in the world.

What has prompted me to speak about spirituality, especially in business? A book written by Gay Hendricks, who was a guest on my previous podcast, called the Corporate Mystics. I adore the idea that there are people in the executive suits who are yearning for purpose and connection. There are so many benefits in bringing spirituality in all areas of your life. I have identified seven:

  1. Bring more intentionality
  2. Become aware of your thoughts and their impact on your life
  3. Entertain the idea of something bigger and more meaningful than us
  4. Learn to surrender
  5. Cultivate a growth mindset
  6. Identify values you want to live by
  7. Responding rather than reacting

What should you expect on this show? I will be releasing episodes every Friday. It will be a mix of interviews and solo episodes, although I am not sure about the ratio or frequency of the interviews.
