I loved the first three chapters of your book, The Intuitive Revolution, Ange. Your definition of what intuition is “a form of intelligence that does not require thinking” resonates deeply. As someone who kept my intuition in a seperate box during my ‘successful’ corporate career before becoming an entrepreneur, I completely understand the power of allowing our intuition into the mix and the difference it makes in life and business and our entire experience of it all. Thank you for shining a much needed light on intuition and the revolution that will fuel brilliant businesses and lives of the future.

Nicola Huelin, Author of the Invisible Revolution

Most people make the mistake of thinking that you either use your mind or your intuition and that they are mutually exclusive. They are wrong. Blending your intuition with your intellect is the most powerful process you can engage in. Intuitive intelligence is the highest form of intelligence. It’s at the root of every creative endeavour and solution focused process. We don’t need to increase our intuition with guessing games. We needc to trust it and act on it.

We think that intuition is something reserved for special people, the “gifted ones”, but nothing is further from the truth. We are all intuitive. We were born with this gift. But if we do not use it, we lose it. And the schooling system inherently squashes this beautiful gift. How do I know? I saw my children lose their capacity to “know” as they progressed in the school system until they had completely lost it by the time they were teenagers.

It takes a very intuitive person (so yes, some of us have a stronger intuition then others) to resist society’s bias against intuition. From very young, we are told to stop lying when we say something that cannot be proven. Later on in life, we are scolded for being irrational, when our intuition speaks.

We fear being ridiculed and want to fit in so we ignore it, often times at our peril. Have you ever had a hunch not to go down a particular street at night then regretting having ignored it because you were mugged? I did.

But above all, we are never taught what intuition is, how to learn to trust it and how to access it on demand.

Althought this book is for entrepreneurs, I believe it can benefit anyone who want to enhance their careers by combining their intelligence with intuition.

“Corporations are full of mystics. If you want to find a genuine mystic, you are more likely to find one in a boardroom than in a cathedral.”
